Right on the money. Listened to beta3 on Saturday — fantastic stuff. A smart dose of enthusiastic realism to balance the recent overdose of west coast flights of fancy.
No offense to Jason, but podcasts that are a single person talking inherently don’t rock. I listened to this because I like Hugh and he generally is dead on, but this time he’s mistaken. I think it’s the interaction with another person on a show that makes a podcast rock.
We (bloggers) constantly talk about conversation but a monologue even one that plays listener comments just doesn’t cut it as good conversation. But then when it comes to podcasts I am a picky bastard.
