blog fatigue

Om Malik comÂplains about Web 2.0 fatiÂgue:
The Web 2.0 conÂfeÂrence hasn’t even begun, and you can feel the fatiÂgue. You can almost preÂdict the marÂkeÂting “spin” coming over next few days, that is enough to make you groan.
I can relate. I usually come down with a heavy dose of blog fatiÂgue every couÂple of months or so. It usually lasts a week or two. I think it’s norÂmal.
SomeÂtiÂmes all you want from life is a cup of cofÂfee and to hold the hand of a cerÂtain speÂcial someone.
"Hugh's Daily Cartoon" Newsletter.
A new cartoon sent out every weekday morning to your inbox [RSS version here.].
A wee chuckle to start your day off right etc.

TalÂking of holÂding speÂcial hands, I went away on wedÂding and honeyÂmoon this sumÂmer, didn’t touch a feed reaÂder or email for a month and came back to… well… let’s just say that I didn’t miss anything that hadn’t kept bubÂbling to the surÂface long enough for me not to notice. It’s the fear that you will be left behind, that you’ll miss the joke or the opporÂtuÂnity that’s weaÂring. I actually enjoy getÂting away to things like LesBlogs/LeWeb, Online Info conf etc so that I can speak to real peoÂple insÂtead of endÂless blogÂging and comÂmenÂting. Like this
I hear ya, Ewan. Which is why if we’ve met in perÂson, and hung out at one of these blog conÂfabs or wheÂreÂver, my chanÂces of linÂking to you incÂrease by at least twentyÂfold.
I simply don;t have the time to blog like I used to. Stormhoek keeps me too busy.… and it’s getÂting busier still.
I wouldn’t mind Stormhoek keeÂping me busy… glug, glug…
Catch you for some micro food at LeWeb3 this time? Stormhoek really helÂped bring together the eduÂblogÂging comÂmuÂnity in ScotÂland (groÂwing at about 300 per cent every quarÂter now).
re: spin
Do you think our resÂponÂses to spin might have something to do with why we keep getÂting more?
Maybe we deserve it…
Not much gets me down, I’m too much of an optiÂmist (or just plain crazy lol)
I do grow the teenÂsiest bit weary at times of strugÂgling for expoÂsure. The few reaÂders I have are a loyal lot, thank gawd, but it’s a strugÂgle to get anyone new to read my blog or book of humor essays. If only I had fairy godÂfather who did great proÂmoÂtions.…
*snicÂker“
(I’m embaÂrrasÂsed by my shaÂmeÂlessÂness lol)
You can perhaps imaÂgine how much this post of yours resoÂnaÂtes with my own state of affairs!
Let’s drink a glass or two of somthing red soon. Since you are the one busy with the winery… (ah… how does that one go again?)
