It’s not easy being self-employed in France… What puzzles me about the French civil service is if they put as much effort into their jobs as they did into complaining and skiving France might actually function better. Balance — that’s what the French need.

i love entrepreneurship, but sarkozy does not impress me. he may create incentive for entrepreneurs, but the real work for bloggers and the like is done by us, not by politicians.

LOVED this creative piece of art and pithy prose… Thanks Hugh! I tend toward a fondness bias regarding entrepreneurs. even if it’s difficult to spell. Regarding that French politician and his statement„, I wonder (who could ever doubt) just wonder if politicans in France speak “merde” in any way similiar to our politicans in Canada. Maybe “non”? Quel jolie!

doesn’t loic realize sarko is just SAYING that he wants to transform france? that doesn’t mean it’s the truth! geez, he IS a politician, afterall. he wants votes. sarko’s a vote ‘ho’ trying to get naive ppl like loic lemeur to believe him then vote for him. he’s also trying to get le pen’s supporters to vote for him too by expulsing immigrants and tearing families apart.
god only knows if business as usual in france can change, it’ll be for the better but change doesn’t exist in the french dictionary. (i looked)
besides, france loves living in needless oblivion. (remember the cpe demonstrations?)
