Congratulations Hugh!
Movable Type improved a lot over time and we are close to see even a better product taking shape shortly
Within the Movable Type Professionals network (pronet) it is a debate on trackbacks
Are they going to die? Can this be improved?

I found a single spam comment to be deeply irritating, so I shall remain as I am. Thanks for the tip.

Are you saying is trackback an over-rated promotional tool? I've been having a number of conversation recently about whether I should add it to my blog and I hadn't even contemplated the spam potential. What's your advice?

Hugh, thanks for the kind words. B.L., I've emailed you separately, but if you haven't filed a help ticket with our team, that will be the quickest way to get assistance from our support staff.

Eh. I'm not too fussed about trackbacks. I prefer using Technorati.
Trackback spam used to be a much bigger problem for me than comment spam.

I upgraded too. You'll soon see that you will not have any trackbacks to your posts because a KNOWN bug in the new version doesn't allow them.
And this is not a new issue. this little bug is not mentioned by Six Apart.
And if you email them, good luck getting a response. I've been waiting nearly three weeks.
