GREAT cartoon Hugh and thank you for referencing the on-point Scoble post as it was awesome. The bad news is that I was inspired by his post to write a bloodly long comment relative to that post… I mentioned the Global Micro Brand concept as evidenced (for example) by your work on behalf of Stormhoek because in 10 – 20 years I believe this concept will be considered a standard of excellence for connecting with people and creating demand… All with integrity.
Nice cartoon. I’m trying to work out whether people would think I was being ironic or stupid by putting it on my business card. Anyway, I got inspired to write a long article like Sheamus, but on a different topic. The only line in the whole thing that will stay with me will probably be “Passion is the steam engine of the next industrial revolution” but I’m not sure if that’s original or even true.
Anyway, keep up the work on the cartoons — I prefer them to discussion of wine.

Hugh — As I started off my post (see below for link) where I riff on your original sketch (and idea), I have much respect for the work you do.
Not only do I enjoy the smile it brings to my face (irony is a good thing), but it spins quickly into ideas that are related to the world of eduation, the ‘future of learning’ in other words. I’ve posted your original link and sketch…and added a edu-re-mix of it as well to help look at similar issues in schools the system of education in general. If this is inappropriate or done in a way that does not align with your desire to share your work, please let me know and I’ll make appropriate changes or remove it entirely.
