And of course, we have the secular version, if the US liquor laws object to having the G-word on the label. But as a conversation starter, I think the first one is more powerful.

These two are beautiful. Thanks Hugh. I’ve always found the two words pretty much interchangeable anyway — ‘God is love’, ‘Life is love’. Means the same really. Thanks.

  2. John Dodds says:

Agreed, and it will also start boycotts and demos.

  3. Nia says:

Beautiful. Stormhoek is going to have the best labels in any product ever.

  4. deannie says:

    *Loved* these labels as well.

  5. Tim Draayer says:

I really like them both but I agree with you, Hugh, the first is the more powerful one.

  6. David Armano says:

LOVE the labels. Especially the God in small places one.

  7. good idea on the secular version, especially since god and the bible are totally anti-wine tea-totalers

  8. Alvin says:

I love this. Not just wine, but wine transformed into an experience!

  9. Kynthia says:

yeah, i kind of think there’s something to having them side by side, actually.
it’s interesting to think about what the difference is.
i haven’t been by in a while and i read about stormhoek being available in the us, and my immediate reaction was “woohoo!”, but then i remembered that i’m in the uk for the next few months, so i had to change my tune to something more like: “why haven’t i bought any yet?!” :)
so i’ll be sure to write something about how i like it.

i would just want a very small wine glass to go with this label.
    like a communion-cup deal.
