Isn’t that why we have blogs, they are just are draft books aren’t they?
LOVE the Cartoon, especially the copyright tag as I am Hugh too.

Back when I was a punk, we did our daydreaming at Blimpie’s. But the situation is timeless!

  3. slinkybender says:

I’d rather my blog be a draft of the life I’d prefer to have than the novel I’ll never publish.

  4. Ab says:

This is genius. Though the second sentence I identify with much less.

  5. Ned Vizzini says:

Please don’t publish crap like this and cheapen the profession of writing, which some of us actual novelists actually perform.

    Too late! Heh.

  7. Broady says:

Please don’t publish witty or ironic material again, as real novelists like myself have nothing to do with such crap. Next time, stifle any creative expression you may have to protect the sacred circle of “real writers.”

Please don’t take your job so seriously. Every so often people should be able to laugh at the good and the bad of their profession no matter what you do.

    *Crickets*
    Should we tell him?

  10. “Please don’t…because not only am I important, but I work very very hard and have lots of very important things to say. In novels.”
