By this timeline, after 50, one's not even acknowledged. I know folks who wouldn't argue with that interpretation.

""I know the world I love, the world I want to belong to. Seems the price of membership is a permanent state of stressed-out exhaustion. Fair enough.""
this, or a condensation, should be a cartoon.

Off to the land of consultancy.. brave? stupid? who knows.. just that I don't want to die slaving over a 30 second film!! =) BTW as a nouveau planner, I really enjoyed your guide to creativity!

I must be doing something wrong. I'm in my 40s and still freelance. Maybe I just lack the courage to call myself "consultant."

Permanent stressed out exhaustion… Yeah, I can relate.
On the other hand, as I've always said: relaxing makes me tense!

I like this card, especially the changing figures (less hair, more there).
Not to be too serious about it, but I might suggest titling it "The Three Ages of Complacency." For if the three panels depict--or even parody, the ages of "slavery," then what word would describe what African-Americans and other groups have lived through for many years?
