british spy blog

From B.L. Ochman:

Although the blog was launched six weeks ago, over the weekend, British media including The Observer picked up on the blog of a former British Intelligence officer, Richard Tomlinson, who spent time in prison for breaking the Official Secrets Act. The papers say that the government is worried that Tomlinson will divulge national security secrets on his blog.
It remains to be seen whether Tomlinson will be squashed like a bug, or whether the blogosphere will come to his defense.

  1. best thing the blogosphere could do I suppose hugh is pitch in and buy a yacht from your man and then timshare the puppy. his story would make an interesting movie, no? I mean with the life he’s had so far, how long can the yacht brokering biz — or blogging — hold his interest? blogging may after all be the pause that refreshes.

He may turn out to be nuts, but right now he sounds pretty sane. Let’s buy him a yacht. But there’s no way I’m sharing my puppy. :>)
