Just a thought: Are any of you downloading and printing the drawings [in accordance with my licensing terms etc.], and maybe hanging them up somewhere [office, home, bar, whatever]? If so, please send me or blog any photos of them you might have– I’d love to see where they’re ending up. Thanks!
[UPDATE:] The Head Lemur has a gapingvoid print in his bathroom. Rock on.

"Hugh's Daily Cartoon" Newsletter. A new cartoon sent out every weekday morning to your inbox [RSS version here.]. A wee chuckle to start your day off right etc.

I’ve been using your cartoons as a screen saver on my powerbook.

Peter, that cartoon is not currently in my possession, but if I can get a high-res version of it down the line, I’ll definitely post it.
Sky, you should send me a pic of your powerbook ;-)
Alan, thanks! I’ve updated the blog.…

The license only permits noncommercial use, so I’m not sure if that would allow me to use a cartoon on a business card or other personally produced, for-my-use-only corporate swag. I was thinking about incorporating them onto my tear-off pads: http://joshua.herzig-marx.com/?p=107″…

  5. Hugh MacLeod says:

depends, josh… how much stormhoek are you thinking of buying? ;-)

  6. Josh says:

Depends on when it’s coming to Boston!

  7. I used a handful of your cartoons in a presentation. The presentation was part of a big job interview where the faculty of the university I’m applying at where invited to come learn about my philosophy of educational technology. I used the time to tell a number of stories that have influenced my thinking and used your art as another way to express my thinking. (I also pointed them at my blog by passing out my gapingvoid business cards with my URL on them!)
Seriously, so much of my thinking is influenced by what I read and think about through your art. I owe you a few cases of purchased Stormhoek. :O)

Im copying them down on a log book for safekeep.. well , it’s actually more like a diary… the rest either goes to my computer or gets splashed all over my dorm..

Wallpaper on my work computer. Replaced my previous wallpaper of a mushroom cloud from an 11 megaton H-bomb. I’m not sure which – the mushroom cloud or your cartoons – my co-workers find more disturbing.

Your pictures make lovely liners for the bottom of my bird cage and kitty litter box. Just kidding, I love your work.
