    Tech­ni­cally, we don’t create the cul­ture. We create the com­mu­nity that crea­tes the cul­ture.
    On second thought, any com­ment that starts with “Tech­ni­cally…” should be soundly thrashed, but I’m too lazy to rew­rite it.

    This tends to only work in the short term. Few stay ahead for long.

    You create something that crea­tes a need for some kind of cul­ture around that something. Understand?

    Ahh if only it was that sim­ple. You can create a cul­ture in a start-up, although that’s likely to be only a few peo­ple.
    Cul­ture CHANGE is the cha­llenge. You can go all guns bla­zing and force it though, accep­ting the casual­ties, or you can get exci­ting and get peo­ple moti­va­ted to join the revo­lu­tion — but it’s not easy, and unfor­tu­na­tely I’m fin­ding it’s also a very slow process
