    I’m gues­sing that inves­tors in News Corp and Goo­gle (just to name two) care.
    But you’re right that the de-hyping of 2.0 is quite tedious.

    I’d say it has a lot more to do with the ine­vi­ta­bi­lity of this change.
    The bot­tom line is this: the only peo­ple who are going to make money through media in the future are the peo­ple who unders­tand the new media forms and use them to their advan­tage.
    Crying about how much money it makes isn’t going to change the fact that peo­ple pre­fer it.

    You’re extre­mely right. Nobody cares, because (if I unders­tood well the lin­ked article) the pri­cing model of TV and the like is as wrong as the ques­tion.
    Mar­ke­ting dro­nes would do well if they stop thin­king about “hit­ting reti­nal tis­sue” as the way to com­mu­ni­cate anything to anyone.
    I’m with Jar­vis on this one.
