“it’s about connection, not content”

[Euan Semple:]

“What will it take for MSM (Mainstream Media) to understand that the point of broadband is not so much fatter pipes down which they can stuff stuff, but that the connection is always on and we can transact and connect with each other easier.”

"Hugh's Daily Cartoon" Newsletter. A new cartoon sent out every weekday morning to your inbox [RSS version here.]. A wee chuckle to start your day off right etc.

Absolutely! It’s the same industry mentality that refers to devices as mobile when what they actually are is portable. We may choose to use them while we’re “on the move” but the key is that we want communication access wherever we are (mobile or stationary).
