fenderkicker update

fenderkicker icon main.jpg
So far I’m pretty pleased with how the Fenderkicker yacht blog is progressing.
I still think it needs to be geekier, as always. Like I’ve said before, the more geeked-out it is, the more yachts it will sell.
More photos. More geekery. Geek, and all the world will be yours. Geek, geek, and geek some more. Geek till you drop. Geek till you die.
Agreed?

We’ll get out our pocket protectors and tape the bridge of our glasses. We’ll get the geek out!

I agree with Jack, there’s not much going on design wise. You need a logo, a nice color scheme and some graphics. You also need to design the content of the site. The typography, the floating of the images, padding, margins and all that CSS stuff.
As for the content I’m sure it’s kick ass for the yacht geeks.

Sit anywhere on the yacht for five minutes and look around you. Locate the thing, or feature that caught your attention the most. Write all you can find out about it. How it was made, by whom, from what and why this yacht is special for having it. Show detailed images of it, more than one. Do this often all over the boat. You present it and build it in the mind of your readers on line. All the descrete objects of desire go to make the whole. This is real geekiness. This is a true blog about the brand. And, don’t forget the water. It’s all about being on the stuff.
