I’m still in Antibes, which I love. Yesterday I visited Monte Carlo for the first time, which I didn’t care for AT ALL. I found it utterly fake and prententious. Antibes is far more low key.
Sue and I did New Years Eve in Monte Carlo many years ago. I found it like Vegas but with less taste.
Thanks for the blog over the years Hugh — I’m not sure I’ll be following your yachting adventures so closely — I might check in from time to time but the wine, the pics, the tailoring — that is all much more interesting that the big buck boats.
Sorry — meant to say, of course, that this is only my opinion based on zero knowledge — who knows, maybe I’ll get hooked? Good luck though, I hope it all goes well.
