These super­yachts are pretty expen­sive to buy.
Luc­kily, if money’s a bit tight this month, you can just rent one [known in the trade as “char­ter”], ins­tead of having to buy it outright.

  3. Okay, Hugh. I get it. You are the new LVMH.
    And you really are in a good posi­tion to become just that. The blo­gosphere can reach the excee­dingly rare, super-duper rich folks, that have to spend ever more money to have exc­lu­sive sym­bols of sta­tus.
    There are so many of-the-rack luxury goods, their value as items that set you apart is dimi­nished.
    Look for that which can­not be made affor­da­ble, and mar­ket it. You’re good at it.

    Some pro­ducts lend them­sel­ves to mar­ke­ting on bogs bet­ter than others. Usually “expen­sive” is good, because you don’t need a huge num­ber of cus­to­mers in order to be successful.
