Hmmm so instead of just clicking on a link and going to a favorite blog, I have to click on the widget get another window AND then click on the link. Ugh. More work and I have too many windows open as is, I am less likely to visit your favoites this, but that just may be me Hugh.

Why make Technorati a middle man between you readers — and your blog roll?
What’s in it for the readers?

“What’s in it for the readers?”
    It’s isn’t just about you, Jeff ;-)

If I wanted to ignore your blogroll I’d read via RSS, part of the reason I read blogs from a browser is to see who they read and follow those link, but it another step away makes it less likely I’ll bother as a reader.

So you say, Thomas, so you say…

I, too, have started using my Technorati faves on my site… It’s only been a few days, but I think I’m going back to my blogroll. *I* find it a hassle to go through Technorati to read my own favourites, clearly everyone else will… I will add a link to my TecnoratiFaves though…

The trouble with standard blogrolls, useful as they are, is that they’re a pain to keep updated.
I do most of my reading through Bloglines these days, anyway.
