“How To Be Creative”, a 10,000-word blog post I wrote a year and a half ago, just got picked up by Digg.
So far, it’s been “Dugg” 1,097 times. Is that a lot? I don’t know much about how Digg works.
[Thanks to Jose for the pointer.]

yes, if you’re dugg more than 1000 times, that’s quite a fair bit!

Hugh — At the time of writing you’re at the top of del.icio.us ‘most popular’ too.
There’s another (secret) page called ‘least popular’ which some of us other internet cartoonists are doing quite well on.

    Damn — link didn’t work. Try http://del.icio.us/popular/

  5. I think being top of the tree is, it is safe to say, fairly cool. Nice. WD.

Congrats Hugh! Just shows you that your thoguhts and ideas resonate as much today as it did when you wrote it.
It is hard not to be motivated by that piece.
Although I have to say I am more partial to DIG with one less “g” ;)

This article has brought me out of my coma/depression of working on art with computers vs doing things with my hands other than get carpel tunnel.
