why i no longer live in new york

One of the great recurring themes of this blog is how much I miss living in New York. Go read my “About” page if you don’t believe me.
Still, there’s a reason why I’m no longer there. As a conversation I remember having long ago still humorously reminds me:
MANHATTAN CONVERSATION, 1999:
GIRL IN BAR: You drink a lot.
HUGH: Indeed.
GIRL IN BAR: Do you think you may be an alcoholic?
HUGH: Not really. I just use alcohol as an appetite suppressant.
GIRL IN BAR: But you don’t look like you have a weight problem.
HUGH: I’m not talking about food, Sweetheart.

well i am realy supprised at the usa, for how easy it is to get crack and they dont seem to care
of what is going on in one state.someone neads to sort it out.and thats all i have to say on that
