    Blog Fin­der is ludic­rously easy to game. I just made myself the #3 autho­rity on Mic­ro­soft ; ) But Sco­ble tem­po­ra­rily made him­self the #1 autho­rity on Apple, so what the hell…
    It’s pro­bably only a mat­ter of days before every major topic returns an iden­ti­cal list of the most-linked blogs, in order, regard­less of the true nature of the blog.

    Kathy, you may be right, but I’m bet­ting that peo­ple (espe­cially autho­ri­ta­tive blog­gers) are by their nature honest, and want to tag them­sel­ves in the appro­priate cate­go­ries that they think they belong in.
    But we’ll see! That’s why this is in beta, to find out how the com­mu­nity inter­prets things, and release early and release often.

    I agree with David, Kathy… you have to try things out.
    The funny thing about A-Listers is: a lot of them are eco­no­micly depen­dant on their blogs. They can’t afford to lose the Goo­gle­juice, ergo they can’t afford to lose their reader’s trust.
    Which helps keeps them honest.
