		<description>&lt;strong&gt;Lack of Case Studies of Companies Using Weblogs&lt;/strong&gt;

Hugh writes about the challenge with getting businesses to adopt blogging when there aren&#039;t many case studies about the practice.

		<description>So ... they want to sell blog software. And need working, successul blogs.
Which are not that available as it seems, because otherwhise they would be found aka successcull.
Why don&#039;t they sponsor some blogs and their development? Make a competition like &quot;enter why your business should receive a boost of attention yada ... only restriction: you have to be a british company and we have categories set up to win &quot;
? Where to win the free seminar on informing me and an the collegues of our company why it is no problem to have a successful blog and not have problems with external communication?
There is a great old IBM commercial I love dearly.
Two managers, one reading a paper:
&quot;we need to get into the internet&quot;
&quot;Why?&quot;
&quot;Does not say why&quot;
Help them to know to why. And then show them off as examples. :)

		<description>With our wiki, we finally gave in and made logging in a requirement to edit. Seems to have stopped 95% of the spam. I think 43 Folders had to do a similar thing. It can reduce the number of people who&#039;ll edit, though, and it looks like most of your edits are from non-logged-in users.
I went looking for a Captcha thing for Media Wiki, but never found anything.
