recenty overheard:
Two bloggers drinking beers.
Blogger One: “Advertising is fucking dead.“
Blogger Two: “Man, advertising is so fucking dead it’s no longer even that fun to read about how fucking dead it is.”

"Hugh's Daily Cartoon" Newsletter.
A new cartoon sent out every weekday morning to your inbox [RSS version here.].
A wee chuckle to start your day off right etc.

So… bought any Havas stock lately?

OMG — what are us folks who get paid for advertising going to do? Make suits? Naaahhh.
I dunno Bruce, how about “an unending chain of one night stands and suicide pacts”?
Man, Steve Hall’s gonna be bummed when he finds out that his blog is no longer much fun to read.
Yeah… him and David Burn
btw I still like reading Adrants… but I don;t feel nearly as connected to the business as I did, even 3 – 6 months ago.
Think about all the really cool, world-changing, paradigm-shifting ideas that have excited you in the last 3 years or so.… Be honest, how many of the were invented inside a typical MAdison Avenue agency?
