“Have you noticed how every one of my cartoons has been pretty much the same recently? Yep, AutoBlogger can generate graphics as well. Now go buy a $3000 suit.”
I’ve been disappointed with your recent cartoons. They show a lack of both thought and execution. Badly printing any ol’ thought in a rectangle and scribbling on it doesn’t constitute a cartoon in my book.
I’ve been disappointed with your recent comments. They show a lack of both thought and execution. Badly typing any ol’ thought in a rectangle and pushing the post button doesn’t constitute a comment in my book.
Ah, Hugh. This is the type of spot-on insight into human behavior that keep me coming back here daily.
Really, Barb, shouldn’t you *appreciate* that Hugh is a DOER, and not a talker?
I happen to love your cartoons lately, Hugh. More so than usual. They seem less “contrived,” more off-the-cuff (Saville Row influenced?), and therefore more authentic.
In the words of Robin Williams: “Joke ‘em if the can’t take a fuck.”
“any ol’ thought in a rectangle and scribbling on it doesn’t constitute a cartoon in my book.”
Damn. My book was going to feature that very concept. I’ll go away and have a rethink.
Have you noticed how the autoblogger site you linked to has a fake phone number and doesn’t have a link for the “How To Buy” button?
Hugh — is Barb an ex of yours? This isn’t the first time she’s had a spit at you …
