When I say ‘aspirational’, I’m suggesting “suits for people who want to dress like the CEO.“
The point being, EC suits are actuially bought and worn by real CEO’s.

EC may not be aspirational in the same way, but there is an allure to bespoke that will make many a guy with some cash tingle over the prospect.
What could be nicer than clothes made just for you…by the best of the best? And it’s so stealth-luxury–no designer labels.
So, not vertically aspirational, but horizontally so, if that makes sense. (Sexual innuendo intended.)

Timbo, yeah, it tries to be Gordon Gekko but Benny Hill keeps wanting to show his face. Heh.
I don’t know for certain, but I spuspect Lutwyche’s target market are young Wall Street/City of London types who want power.
English Cut, on the other hand, is for people who already have it
i.e. English Cut is not “aspirational”. That being said, our target is probably 10–20 years older than Lutwyche’s. And I’ll wager our suits cost 2–4 times as much.

Americans use Hollywood (“One man fighting against the system!”), we use office porn.
I think porn is more interesting than Hollywood. Especially if you look at this year’s Oscar nominations.
