The “How To Be Creative” PDF just upped another point on ChangeThis.com, to #3 most downloaded. Thanks, Guys!

The “Hughtrain” PDF remains at #16. Again, thanks.
If you want to support gapingvoid, the best thing you can do is download The Hughtrain PDF. And if you can convince your friends to do the same, even better.
Yeah, I know, it’s kinda foul and nasty of me to pimp it so shamelessly, but the higer up ChangeThis it goes, the easier it will be for me to convince a publisher to turn it into a book. And I’ve recently started thinking about books more.
So, my friends, Download! Download like the wind!

"Hugh's Daily Cartoon" Newsletter. A new cartoon sent out every weekday morning to your inbox [RSS version here.]. A wee chuckle to start your day off right etc.

Oddly enough, the constant plugs don’t bug me in the least. I find it kind of instructive watching you repeat yourself so often in different words. The old repetition trick in action…
But even with my advanced ADD, it seems to pass by without setting off the terminal boredom alarm. I’m not sure why, but I’d guess it’s ’cause you’re such a cheeky bastard and I find it amusing. heh.

Is it really that hard to convince a publisher to make a book? I don’t know anything about the publishing industry, but considering the volume of useless business books I see out there, I would guess they’re offering publishing deals to monkeys that can type.
Anyway, I think Hughtrain certainly would succeed as a book, but hopefully not a big book. I’m tired of reading business books that are 200 pages when all they really needed was 20 pages to make their point. It’s as if the publishing industry thinks if a book is less than 200 pages it must be crap so writers include 180 pages of filler just to meet the expectations of what a good book must be.

  5. There is something about the ChangeThis’ download links that makes my Acrobat&IE hang. I wish I could download from there. *sigh*

Downloaded and saved… do we get autographed copies when it does get published? :)
