Don’t want to burst any bubbles – but marketing and advertising on the West coast ain’t all that cutting edge either. I think the cutting edge is happening in different pockets distributed all over the world and via the Net you find you aren’t alone. Early stage startups are up for more experimental stuff but rarely use headhunters, everything runs on trust networks, i.e. social networks out here.

Hugh, you think the West Coast will buy (and buy and buy) “The Vision Thing” more than the narrow-minded UK/European crowd who like things when they work for now to work forever?
