Awww… this is a nice story.
Ser­gei in Rus­sia saw Young Adam recently on Rus­sian TV, and left a com­ment in the post below:
“Last week I have seen ‘Young Adam’ on Rus­sian TV! Don’t know what cri­tics say, but I like it. Just real thing, for those, who are tired of comics-like movies.“
Thanks, Ser­gei! Yeah, I would agree with that. It’s very much an adult movie, and not just because of all the sex stuff. It’s pretty dark and defi­ni­tely not “comic book”.
I guess they didn’t manage a thea­tre sale over there, just telev­sion. Eh. Whaddya gonna do?
Now I’m won­de­ring if Ser­gei was sur­pri­sed to see it, in “real life” etc.
