    I really like the new for­mat of the site. It makes it much easier to read. The reverse type of the old site was sort of hur­ting my eyes. (For you, I tried, though.) Hope you’re enjo­ying V-Day. As for me, I want to curl up into a little ball and sleep. I par­tied a bit too much last night, and well … sleep came not.

    Yeah, the white-on-black had to go. It didn’t mat­ter so much back in the old pre-blogging days, back when it was just pic­tu­res (see the old batch archi­ves in the old site).
    The other con­si­de­ra­tions are navi­ga­tio­nal. It’s easier to get peo­ple to read your stuff if it’s in a for­mat they’re already fami­liar with. Mova­ble Type is pretty standard.

    Bah. I liked the white on black. Easier on the eyes. The white back­ground makes it like sta­ring at a light bulb.
