Just some insi­der Blo­gad info: I’m currently trying to relo­cate back to New York, so now all my blo­gads are “hire me” ads, aimed at a pri­ma­rily New York audience. You can check them out at: Jane Galt, Amy Lang­field, Tech Law Advi­sor and 601am. Besi­des those four I’ve also got some non-New York ads going at Blo­gads Weblog and Adrants.
Yeah, six blogs seems like a lot. But they’re cheap and cul­mu­la­ti­vely I’m thin­king I’ll have a far more diverse a range than if I just bought adver­ti­sing on a sin­gle, lar­ger web­site. Nobody is going to hire you if they don’t know you, so you’ve got to get the word out. I’ll let you know how I get on. If it works for me, then it’ll work for other peo­ple. Then hope­fully word will spread and peo­ple will start follo­wing my exam­ple. And sud­denly Blo­gads will have found a brand new niche that’s poten­tially use­ful to thou­sands of peo­ple.
